Our goal
The Old Age Assist Program is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established under Chapter 10 of Title 13.1 of the Code of Virginia (Virginia Nonstock Corporation Act). Our mission is to support and uplift the aging population through education, volunteer engagement, and technology-driven solutions, while empowering students to make a direct and lasting impact in their communities.
We believe in a two-way benefit: helping senior citizens live with dignity, connection, and independence, while offering students meaningful, hands-on service opportunities that count toward verified volunteer hours.
The Old Age Assist Program is a Virginia-based nonprofit that partners with nearby senior homes and communities to help the elderly through tech support, memory care, and companionship.
We offer verified Canva-based service courses for students to earn community service hours, including:
Teaching basic tech to seniors
Leading memory training games
Wellness check-ins
Setting up assistive devices
Earn up to 20 service hours from home + additional hours through in-person volunteering
